Going well so far

Second day of blogging!!

Gorgeous morning here in Ashbourne, sun is shining, no rain - yet, and all is still.  Very unlike the weather we had last week!!

Submitted my first book review yesterday, short but not sure yet how much to say in a review.  Hopefully receive some guidance from @brightonblogger. You just don't want to tell the story and give the ending away do you?  Great book though, recommended by my daughters friend.  As they are both doing A Level English I was expecting it to be a bit of a marathon, but it was a really good read and not too difficult to pull in a short read of it at bed time.

I'd recently read Fingersmith by Sarah Waters and thoroughly enjoyed that too.  Felt a bit Oliver Twist(ish) at the start but then, in her usual manner, there was the twist in the tale.

Having a couple of days off reading books and catching up on some light magazine reading now.

First Zumba class of the new year last night.  We learnt seven new routines and if I haven't lost some weight this week I will not be happy.  It was a tough work out.  Paid up front for 6 classes to encourage myself to go.

No knitting/crocheting done last night - not good.  Had an early night instead.  Will try and get a move on with it tonight.  Trouble is hubby wants to look at flights to Sweden for the summer, and needs me to do the computer work!!!

Right wages and tax return to do now.  Catch up with you again tomorrow.

Why not become a member and see what I'm up to - if you're interested!

Positive thought for the day:

GRATEFUL FOR THE BIRDSONG I CAN HEAR FROM MY STUDY.
